About the company

What is ClinicalQI?

ClinicalQI Healthtech LLP is a healthtech company in Nagpur, India that builds documentation, quality and clinical decision support software for neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) in Indian hospitals. Its products are NeoRes, NeoEnigma and NeoRx, each covering one stage of the newborn’s journey.

Who founded ClinicalQI?

ClinicalQI was founded by Dr. Harshal Khade, a practising neonatologist, together with co-founder Dr. Kalyani Besekar (Khade). The company is incubated at BioNEST DMIHER, Wardha, a DBT-BIRAC supported bioincubator.

How is ClinicalQI different from general hospital software?

Every ClinicalQI product is built specifically for newborns and NICUs, never adapted from adult care. The software is designed by a neonatologist around real bedside workflow, and all clinical content is reviewed by a neonatologist before release.

About the products

What is NeoRes?

NeoRes is clinical decision support software for neonatal resuscitation. It turns live heart rate, SpO₂ and temperature into step-by-step guidance aligned with the IAP NRP STG 2022 and the AHA/AAP NRP 9th Edition (2025). It works fully offline and offers voice guidance in English, Hindi, Marathi, Telugu and Tamil.

What is NeoEnigma?

NeoEnigma is a nursing workflow and quality system for the NICU. Nurses document care once at the bedside, and the registers, nursing-sensitive KPIs and NABH evidence pack are generated automatically from that documentation.

What is a NABH evidence pack for a NICU, and how does NeoEnigma produce it?

A NABH evidence pack is the set of records a NICU presents to show it meets NABH accreditation requirements. NeoEnigma is designed around the NABH 6th Edition: from 17 bedside forms it derives 26 registers and 24 nursing-sensitive KPIs, and produces the evidence pack in one click.

What is NeoRx?

NeoRx is a neonatal medication safety tool. It provides NeoFax/NNF-based dosing for 56+ neonatal drugs adjusted for weight, gestational age and day of life, with renal correction. It also covers 14+ continuous infusions, IVF and TPN calculation with fluid-overload prevention, and electrolyte correction, and produces print-ready order sheets.

Does the software replace the doctor’s judgement?

No. Every ClinicalQI product is decision support or documentation. Physicians review, verify and sign all clinical outputs before anything is administered.

Availability, safety and data

Are ClinicalQI products available to buy?

Not yet. All three ClinicalQI products are currently under development and are not yet available for sale. Where a product falls under India’s Medical Device Rules 2017, it will reach the market only with the appropriate CDSCO licence, and the licensing process is in progress.

Which guidelines and standards does ClinicalQI follow?

Clinical content is drawn from NNF Clinical Practice Guidelines, AIIMS protocols, IAP, NeoFax and the AHA/AAP NRP, and cross-checked across sources. Development processes are aligned to ISO 13485, IEC 62304, ISO 14971, IEC 62366-1 and IEC 82304-1.

Where is patient data stored, and is it secure?

All infrastructure is hosted in India on AWS (Mumbai region), with each facility’s data kept separate, in an architecture aligned to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Records are tamper-evident: every entry carries a named author and cannot be silently altered or deleted.
